JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
We are looking for a physiotherapist colleague for a permanent position in our medical department with a focus on internal medicine and our intensive care unit. In our medical department, you will meet a mix of patients where the most common diagnoses are COPD, lung cancer, pneumonia, kidney failure, and various infections. The role also includes working in the intensive care unit. The rehabilitation measures often have an acute focus where the aim is to achieve the patient's goals together and to work towards a safe and secure discharge for the patient.
You will work closely with the occupational therapist in the medical department, other professionals in the department, as well as with your physiotherapy colleagues in other departments and clinics at the hospital.
Your tasks include examination, assessment, and treatment/rehabilitation of individuals of all ages, both individually and as part of the team around the patient. Together with the team, you will be involved in the care planning process. In planning and reporting before the patient's discharge, we have a close collaboration with the municipality and primary care.
With us, you will find an open and positive work climate and a job characterized by personal responsibility, participation, and teamwork.
To ensure the best possible start to your work, you will be offered an individually tailored introduction and mentorship from an experienced colleague.
We are constantly working to develop and improve, which is why initiative and innovation are valued. As a result, there are good opportunities for professional development through both internal and external training, as well as opportunities to develop in various areas of the operations. As part of the education of future physiotherapists, there may be supervision of students from the physiotherapy program.
Weekend work occurs as well as work during major holidays. Work in other departments may be required as needed.
